About the Cambridge Solutions Center
The Cambridge Solutions Center is located within Illumina’s European headquarters and is used as a working lab for internal trainings, collaboration studies and testing of new technologies. Our labs are fully equipped to support all Illumina workflows and ready to provide you hands-on experience using the most advanced Illumina systems.

Cambridge, the Birthplace of DNA Sequencing
The Cambridge Solutions Center is located just on the outskirts of the city of Cambridge, the birthplace of traditional Sanger sequence and Illumina NGS. Cambridge is a fascinating city, recognised throughout the world as a place of learning and innovation.
The Colleges of Cambridge have existed for more than 800 years and offer spectacular architecture and history. The city has more museums, galleries and scientific collections within a square mile than any other UK city outside London. It is also home to the Welcome Sanger Institute which is a world leader in genome research and led the public element of the Human Genome Project.

How to get there?
Illumina’s European Headquarter is located in Granta Park conveniently positioned south of Cambridge with easy access by road and rail. Minutes from the M11 motorway, it brings Stansted Airport, London and connections to the North via the A1(M) and the South and West via the M25 within easy reach. Access to universities, the city centre and mainline stations of Cambridge are just 20 minutes by car.
Granta Park is served well by public transport, including a frequent public bus and train service from the city centre and surrounding areas.
Granta Park provides a commuter bus to employees that starts at Cambridge train station and picks up at four stops along the way, including Whittlesford Parkway.
