How to properly delete runs on the NextSeq 1000/2000

In this video, we will show you how to properly delete runs on the NextSeq 1000/2000. A sequencing run requires around 200 GB of local disk space. A warning notification will display to let you know that you’re running out of space. Only delete runs using the NextSeq 1000 / 2000 control software to avoid negative impacts on the control software’s performance. To delete runs: 1- Select the menu icon from the top left corner 2- Select Disk Management 3- Find the run you want to delete and select “DELETE RUN” 4- In the dialogue box select “YES, DELETE RUN” to confirm Repeat steps 3 and 4 for each run you want to delete.
