These kit options include Ribo-Zero H/M/R Gold, which depletes samples of cytoplasmic and mitochondrial ribosomal RNA and preserves strandedness of transcripts. Strand information is useful for detection of antisense transcription, transcript annotation, and increased alignment efficiency. This kit has been explicitly tested on human, mouse, and rat samples. For other species, use the RNA MatchMaker Tool to test Ribo-Zero compatibility in silico.

* Library prep is compatible with all Illumina instruments. Recommended instruments chosen based on typical output and analysis need for selected application.
† Limited by index combinations (HT). Based on 20M / 50M reads.
‡ Based on 20M reads per sample for RNA profiling and 50M reads per sample for transcriptome analysis. Use twice the number of reads for FFPE or degraded samples.
