10 Years of Infinium Array-Powered Progress
27 October 2015

Throughout the last 10 years, Illumina’s Infinium product line has evolved quickly from genotying common variants, to supporting rare variants, to cost-effectively performing large-scale cohort studies. The Infinium line uses BeadArray microarray technology and encompasses genotyping, methylation, and DNA copy number products for human, animal and plant markets. Before introducing its sequencers, Illumina was solely in the array business and is still highly dedicated to the arrays market and the evolution and advancement of those technologies.
