The European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology annual meeting took place in Helsinki, Finland, July 3 – 6 and attracted over 9,000 delegates in the field of reproductive health. ESHRE aims to provide a forum for the exchange and discussion of new clinical and scientific ideas in reproductive biology and medicine. It facilitates research and dissemination of research findings in human reproduction and embryology to the public, scientists, clinicians and patient associations and works to collaborate with policy makers throughout Europe.
The conference provided an opportunity to learn how Illumina’s customers are using our technology in genetic disease research and the outcomes achieved through preimplantation genetic screening (PGS) and preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD). We caught up with some of them to hear how Illumina is helping to enable their work.
