There, she played a pivotal role in launching several NATA-accredited genomic tests and in validating numerous commercial tools for their fit-for-purpose in the clinical setting. Miriam holds a PhD in Cancer Biology & Genomics from the University of Oviedo, Spain and published numerous peer-reviewed articles in the fields of Cancer Biology, Neurogenetics and Clinical Genomics.

Orit Livnat Levi is the Associate Director of Informatics Product Management, focused on unlocking the interpretation bottleneck and enabling scale in the interpretation of Genetic Disease NGS data. She joined Illumina’s Emedgene team in 2019, and is passionate about applying AI and software technologies to transform tertiary analysis. She leads product strategy by translating customer needs and feedback into actionable development plans and ensuring that the resulting products meet or exceed customer expectations. Prior to Illumina, Orit spent over 15 years as a strategic marketer in AI, IOT and Bio-Tech startups. Orit holds an MBA with honors from NYU.
