Illumina is working to improve human reproductive and genetic health through partnerships and collaborations with the reproductive health community. These collaborations, along with governing bodies and professional societies, provide input on product design to drive innovation and expand applications and help us understand the current technologies and where they might lead.
The 15th Preimplantation Genetics Diagnosis International Society (PGDIS) conference took place May 8 -11, 2016 in Bologna, Italy. PGDIS coordinates research, education and training in preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD), requiring a close collaboration of obstetricians, fertility specialists, embryologists and human geneticists, to ensure safety and accuracy of PGD and its application into clinical practice for the improvement of genetic practices and reproductive medicine. During the conference, we spoke to some of our customers about their relationships with Illumina and how it's making a difference in their work.
